John Taylor is a diverse guitarist capable of mastering any genre he sets his mind to. Having earned a guitar degree from the Crane School of Music at SUNY, Potsdam, he is recognized as a powerhouse player in the area. He can just as easily slay at a late night rock and roll gig as sit in on a musical theater production in the pit.  

Over recent years John has expanded his talents, forraying into gypsy jazz guitar, mandolin and resonator guitar. His amazing musical diversity allows the duo to continually expand their sound.

More recently John has turned his attentions to studio production of Lander Blue's first album. With an ear for perfection, he is elevating their music to new heights. Stay tuned to hear the final outcome later in 2026!

John is a native of Theills, New York and has been playing guitar since the age of 9. With skills of this level, he has never been without a band across the tri-state area!
